What’s Chic This Week? Snake Charmers

  Snakeskin is back, ruling the runways, which got me wondering about why we are so enamored with the remnants of something that slithers and hisses and makes many of us (yes, me!) feel squeamish. This is what I came up with. It is unexpected. When I’m frightened, I imagine the thing that I am afraid of to be something so hideous that I need to turn away from it.
